US Congress holds hearing on the importance of soil health and conservation

Rep. Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson, Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee’s Subcommittee on Conservation, Energy, and Forestry, held a public hearing to examine the benefits of promoting soil health in agriculture and rural America. The hearing focused not only on efforts to improve soil health management at the state and local level, but also how the new farm bill will improve conservation practices.

    Great to know this. Current Indian Government has a very big plan to make farmers all over India get information regarding soil health. Each farmer would be given a soil health card. India and US can benefit lot of farmers if they come together and share knowledge and help each other.
