Our fourth annual Sloan Visit Day offers prospective students opportunities to meet with current students, meet with program alumni, connect with program faculty, and hear from distinguished leaders in the field of healthcare management, all while discovering why studying at Cornell University and living in Ithaca, NY create a rich and rewarding experience you will treasure always.
Visit Day kicks off Friday, November 1 with a rise-and-shine welcome breakfast, followed by our featured Sloan Colloquium speaker, Matthew M. Stanton, MEng (Cornell), MBA, Executive Director, Digital Health, Cleveland Clinic. The colloquium will be followed by lunch with faculty, program overview, student panel, alumni breakouts, and campus tour. Visit day will conclude with a student-alumni-faculty dinner overlooking Cayuga Lake at the magnificent Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art.
On Thursday, October 31, students arriving to campus early may have an opportunity for onsite interviews (by invitation only) and to attend a class (requires advanced permission).
The aim of Sloan Visit Day is to matriculate a cohort of outstanding students who will individually and collectively thrive during their two-year course of study so we may improve the operation of health care systems and the health of the community, and to be recognized as an outstanding healthcare management program by virtue of faculty scholarship and student achievement. We believe identifying a strong fit between student and program and matriculating the highest caliber prospective students will help us achieve this vision. Sloan Visit Day is an exciting part of our admissions process and is highly recommended for prospective students.
A limited number of hotel vouchers for Thursday and Friday will be offered to qualified applicants who have completed the interview process by October 15, 2019, to learn about our participating alumni and VIPs, and to learn more about Ithaca and our “gorges” Finger Lakes region of New York.
We look forward to sharing our Sloan Family with you!
