Patev demos 3D printing in Engineering Library space

Yesterday, Sean Patev (plant pathology) set up shop in the Engineering Library study space in Carpenter Hall.  He brought along a 3D printer and printed two objects right before our eyes – a small vase and soap dish!  There were other 3D printed items on hand as well.  Sean talked about how the printer works, implications of 3D printing and was there to answer questions from our attendees.
