The University-Wide GETSET Teaching Workshop is coming up on February 9th, 2013.  GETSET stands for Graduate students, future Educators, and Teaching assistants pursuing Scholarship and Excellence in Teaching, and includes multiple public speaking practice opportunities including practice teaching sessions, overcoming public speaking anxiety and building communication skills.

These workshops are framed in the context of teaching but do focus on presentation and communication techniques.  Particpants in the workshop’s mini-lesson sessions will present and get direct feedback.
