Math Library Reunion events

Just in time for reunion weekend – a new display is up in the Math Library featuring some of our more unique items.  While our library holds numerous high-level mathematics and statistics print volumes in the stacks, did you also know there are puzzle and riddle books?  How about fiction and novels?  Hollywood movies?  Even some cross-disciplinary items from the Physical Sciences collection are housed in our stacks:

Come check out the exhibit  – and try some math puzzles of your own!  The display is on now and through the weekend.  Light refreshments will be available Friday.

Also on Friday in the conference room, we are showing A Brilliant Madness which tells the story of John Nash, the inspiration for the Hollywood film A Beautiful Mind.  Film is shown starting at 9am, every hour on the hour, with the last showing at 4pm.  We will even have fresh popcorn on hand for any film goers!
