Saving Collections of Citations in PubMed MEDLINE

In addition to saving searches in MyNCBI for current awareness purposes, PubMed has added another handy feature enabling you to save sets of citations under Collections. To save selected citations, you must first put the marked citations on the clipboard (if no citations are marked, the default is all results), then send them to a MyNCBI Collection. You can start a new collection or append citations to an existing collection. Up to 1500 items can be stored in each collection and there is a maximum of 100 collections per MyNCBI account. To view your collection, click on the Collections tab in MyNCBI, then click the name of the collection to see the contents in PubMed format. By clicking Contents it is possible to delete individual citations. Collections can also be merged using the Merge pop-up. Give it a try.
