Fri, 4 April scab maturity assessment:
Today Mike Biltonen (Apple Leaf Consulting) and I collaborated on an apple scab maturity assessment and found no apple scab ascospores that were anywhere close to being mature. Not surprising given the fact that trees are still completely dormant and snowbanks are still 3-4 ft deep where snow was pushed into piles to clear parking areas.
