Nicolette has joined the EVADE team at Cornell’s Agritech as a summer technician in the Plant Pathology & Plant-Microbe Biology Section, working with Sclerotinia sclerotiorum sclerotia and plant-pathogenic fungi that affect table beet and onion. She is entering her junior year at SUNY Oneonta where she is studying Psychology. On campus, she is affiliated with Psi Chi (Psychology Honor Society), Alpha Psi Omega (Theatre Honor Society), Mask and Hammer Theatre Club, and Sigma Iota Kappa (Vice President). Although her career path is not in agriculture, she wants to gain research experience and expand her knowledge! She hopes to pursue a masters degree in developmental psychology, and a PhD in clinical psychology to become a child psychologist. In her free time, Nicolette enjoys theatre, photography, and traveling.
