Before coming to the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station, Carol’s career spanned 25 years with Case New Holland (CNH), a leading farm and industrial manufacturing company. While at CNH, she held various positions in sales and marketing including Distribution Manager and Sales Support Team Leader.
In 2005 Carol left her CNH position in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and moved to Canandaiguia, New York. Following her move she decided that it was time to change her career path and pursue her interest in “growing plants.” In 2011, Carol enrolled in the Ornamental Horticulture program at Finger Lakes Community College. She completed her associates degree in 2013. Subsequently, Carol was hired as a technician in Dr. Christine Smart’s program, where she focused her work on bacterial diseases of vegetables.
