Chili, Casino, Constitutional Politics
February 22, 2010
Title says it all: it was a very busy weekend! On Saturday, I volunteered at the Chili Cook-Off , an annual Ithaca favorite that so many Cornellians attend. Since I clearly didn’t learn my lesson from last year, my fingers froze about two hours into it, and I lifted a lot more heavy stuff than my haven’t-worked-out-in-two-weeks muscles could really handle. (There are muscles in my forearms? What?!) I gave my arms and legs a break in the evening, joining the eminent personalities of WVBR, Ithaca’s mostly student-run radio station, for their annual charity casino night.
Sunday was a whirlwind tour of Cornell’s library system, starting in Olin, relocating to Statler, and spending my first late night of the semester in Mann. Grueling as it was, I cranked out what I believe to be a pretty good paper for my Constitutional Politics: the U.S. Supreme Court class (or maybe it just seemed good at 12:30 a.m.? Time will tell.)
