Join us on August 13th at 9:30 am for an introduction on the best ways to make use of your research time when you travel to other archival repositories or when doing archival research right here at Cornell. This session will be held at Division of Rare and Manuscript Collections in Kroch Library.
In this session, we will discuss planning ahead for different institutional policies, ways to photograph and edit documents quickly, and software and practices for managing and storing image files. Bring your own camera or smartphone for this hands-on session.
During the last 30 minutes, we will focus on using the citation management tool, Zotero, for helping you to manage files. This session is for humanities and social science researchers.
Please register in advance.
