This exhibition explores the cultural and political frontiers of World War I, examining its effects from a variety of national and transnational viewpoints. Highlights include a series of historic cartographic materials and original maps created using GIS to demonstrate the extent of the war’s reach. Other materials—diaries, letters, posters—reveal cross-cultural exchanges that reflect the war’s broad geographical scope, from Ottoman to Canadian, Australian to Bulgarian.
