The MMH class of 2015 is officially on summer vacation!!! From August 12 – August 25 the class will spread into the far corners of the globe to enjoy the time off. Our classmates’ vacation plans are many and varied but it’s safe to say that we’re all really excited about this break from school.
It’s been a fast summer- our summer classes were each 5 weeks long but covered the same amount of material normally encompassed in a 15-week, semester-long class. Since we started classes on May 27th we’ve had 5.5 hours of class 3 days a week. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the first half of our summer semester we took Corporate Finance from 9am-11:45am followed by Managerial Accounting from 1:30pm-4:15pm. We finished these first two classes right before July 4th and replaced them with Operations Management and Marketing Management for Services for the second half of our summer session. Although we only had class 3 days a week the vast majority of our “days off” have been devoted to group project work and our Professional Development curriculum…phew!! The summer has been a whirlwind so we’re definitely ready for vacation!
