Alumni Career Conversation with NASA engineer

The Engineering Career Center invites you to join us for a career conversation with a Cornell alum Iona Brockie, mechatronics engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. This event is a great opportunity to connect with an alum in an informal, small group setting and hear how this Cornell Engineer is using their degree. You’ll learn about connecting majors to careers and understand how skills developed through the engineering curriculum and experiential learning opportunities apply to positions in industry.

Alumni Profile: Iona Brockie ’14, ’15 Iona Brockieis a mechatronics engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. She worked on the design, assembly, and testing of the drill bits for the Mars 2020 rover, and is currently preparing for surface operations when the rover lands in February 2021. Iona studied mechanical engineering at Cornell and graduated with a bachelor’s in 2014 and an MEng in 2015.
