Course Additions & Changes for 2018-2019

**Descriptions of these courses will be available on Courses of Study

Course Updates for Fall 2018:

MAE 4510/5510: Aerospace Propulsion, will be offered.

MAE 4730/5730: Intermediate Dynamics (formerly Intermediate Dynamics and Vibrations):
Vibrations will no longer be a central topic in the course.  3D dynamics, formerly not taught, will now be a central topic.
“Vibrations” will be  taught as a separate course, but not this coming fall. The 3D dynamics in 4730/5730 will be close to that from Applied Dynamics (4710/5710) this past fall. Those who took 4710/5710 and want to take this course also: a) need not do HW they already mastered,  b) will have alternative HW, c) will need to demonstrate the same ultimate competency as the others.
This course is prep for other 3D dynamics courses including various Space/Satellite-mechanics courses, Robotics, and future versions of Applied Dynamics.
Questions:  ask Andy Ruina, ruina@cornell.edu
