The NY Farm Viability Institute awarded PI Greg Loeb and collaborators a grant for $290,000 in June 2015 to support research on biology and management of spotted wing drosophila
USDA awards a $6.75 M specialty crops research initiative (SCRI) grant over four years to develop sustainable strategies to manage spotted wing drosophila in the US with PI Hannah Burrack at NC State. As co-project director Loeb receives $540,000 in support of his research and extension efforts
USDA awards a $350,00 crop protection pest management (CPPM) grant over there years to investigate managing spotted wing drosophila using innovative behavioral manipulation strategies with PI Cesar Saona-Rodriguez at Rutgers. Co-PI Loeb receives $100,00 in support of research efforts on integrating repellents into management system.
