Biography

Scott is a junior undergraduate student in the Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Cornell. Scott joined the Micro/Nanofluidics Laboratory in January of 2016. He graduated from Osbourn Park High School with a focus in Biotechnology in 2013, and plans to graduate Cornell in May 2017.

Scott is a member of the Tau Beta Pi and Golden Key Honor Societies. He is a member of the Cornell Mars Rover Project Team and Varsity Baseball team.

Current Project

Scott is currently working with Tim Lannin and Wey-Wey Su on using electrorotation to characterize the electrical properties of cancer cells. He helps out with electrorotation experiments and related computational tasks such as image processing.

Scott is also working with Tim Lannin and Wey-Wey Su on using electrorotation to characterize the electrical properties of algae. In addition to MicroElectrical Mechanical Systems and microfluidics, Scott has interest in aerospace craft such as satellites and rockets.
