Biography
Pranav began his graduate studies at Cornell University in Fall 2016 and joined the Micro/Nanofluidics Laboratory in September 2016. He graduated from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Tiruchirappalli in May 2016 with B.Tech in Chemical Engineering. He is a MITACS Globalink Research Intern and during his undergraduate summer internship in Mcmaster University, Canada, he worked on a number of projects in microfluidics including Uniform flow distribution analysis in Microfluidic Bioreactors, Vacuum Induced Cellular Concentration Analysis Using Fluorescent Microscopy, and Chemotaxis of C-elegans.
Current Projects
Pranav is interested in Point of Care Diagnostics using microfluidics and Lab on a Chip technology. He is currently developing a point of care device to facilitate widespread, cross-species monitoring of Lyme disease in an inexpensive format.
