Kirbylab to investigate nanofluidics at hydrophobic interfaces
With recent funding from the American Chemical Society, the Micro/Nanofluidics laboratory has started a project to explore the effects of solvents on nanoscale electrokinetic phenomena. By combining electrokinetic observations with scanning-probe microscopy, various effects related to electrokinetics, hydrophobic slip, and multiphase interfacial phenomena will be explored.
