One of the beauties of KFS is that users can initiate and edit their own accounts. No more emailing central asking for changes! Departments will generate their own Account maintenance e-docs, and after they go through the approval process, the account will be created or the change made.
Because departments will create and maintain sub-accounts and sub-objects, requests and changes to them will not route to central either. If your department wants to use these to granulate accounts or object codes, then feel free to do so.
Best of all (and this is one of the real powerhouses of KFS) global e-docs allow you to use one e-doc to make the same change to multiple accounts, sub-object codes, or account delegates. For instance, use a global e-doc to change the address on every account in your organization. Or use one to change the fiscal officer delegation on any number of accounts. Global e-docs will make light work of what used to be a cumbersome process!
