General Information about Internal Transfer

Students are able to apply for internal transfer in order to move from their current (home) college to a new (target) college. Please know that college advisors and admissions staff are here to support you as you explore different options at Cornell. You can reach out to the admissions office in your target college, as well as your current (home college) staff advisor or student services office, to speak about different options available to you.

Before you apply, please review the requirements and processes for the college you are interested in internally transferring to.

Spring 2024 Internal Transfer Application is Closed

The Spring 2024 Internal Transfer application is closed. The application deadline was December 1, 2023. If you have questions, please contact the college that you are interested in. College contact information is below. Students will be notified of Spring 2024 decisions in January 2024.

Information about Concurrent Degrees

Concurrent Degrees will no longer be offered as an option at Cornell. Please keep in mind that there are many different ways to gain knowledge and skills in new disciplines and fields.
