The student farm on campus, Dilmun Hill, is accepting applications for the 2020 season! Anyone who is an undergraduate student enrolled at Cornell can apply – no experience necessary! This is a learning position, with the expectation that you will come out of it with an in-depth understanding of growing food, improve your leadership and team-working skills, and enjoy the best produce all summer long. You can find more specific information on the application form.
The farm manager position is a long-term commitment, beginning in the spring (March), and continuing throughout the summer and fall (until November). In the spring, you will be paid to work 5 hours/week, in the summer, 35 hours/week, and 10 hours/week in the fall. Pay is $11.50/hour, and federal work study students are highly encouraged to apply!
Applications accepted until 11:59pm, Friday Feb. 14, 2020.
We will also be hosting an info session on Monday February 10th at 4:45 pm in PLSC 22. There will be a short presentation and then lots of time to answer any questions!
Following the application, we will be hosting interviews to meet everyone and make our decisions.
