In cooperation with the Environmental Studies Program at Tompkins Cortland Community College, Groundswell Center for Local Food and Farming will again offer the popular Summer Practicum in Sustainable Farming and Food Justice in 2012. Students will meet Monday through Thursday from 9am to 2pm each week to explore the issues affecting social justice and sustainability of agriculture and food systems through readings, discussion, lectures, field trips, labs, and immersion in the actual work of operating a successful and sustainable small farm.
