Author Jane Hyun, Cornell University alumni, is currently the President and Founder of Hyun & Associates, an executive career coach, human resource consultant, and diversity strategist to many Fortune 500 companies.

In her informative book Breaking the Bamboo Ceiling she addresses the growing phenomenon of many Asian American professionals reported being misunderstood in business settings.  Second and third-generation Asian American who don’t speak a lick of Asian dialect report being mistaken as foreigners or expatriates in the workplace.  This population is one of the fastest growing groups in the U.S. labor force and needs to be recognized, if we are to work together.
