Welcome to the New York State Tiger Mosquito Education Network (TigerNET).
The project is a collaboration between our group (Harrington and Talya Shragai), NYS IPM program (Jody Gangloff-Kaufmann and Temson Yeh), and CCE (Suffolk County; Annie Christian-Reuter and CCE, Rockland County).
Our TigerNET project is a citizen science program for school age children and Master Gardeners that seeks to provide education about Asian tiger mosquito biology and risk, and also allows participants to gather critical data on mosquito breeding sites throughout its range within New York State.
