The Future Professors Institute engages graduate students and postdoctoral scholars in workshops, panel discussions, and talks focused on preparing them for faculty careers across institutional types. The primary audience is Cornell University graduate students and postdocs from backgrounds historically excluded from and underrepresented in the professoriate, and/or those with a demonstrated commitment to advancing diversity, inclusion, access, and equity in academia. Our June 2021 event was held virtually, allowing scholars external to Cornell who are affiliated with the programs and societies listed on the Registration page to attend as well.
