Hello! This blog is for my colleagues and volunteer leaders who want to use data to make smarter decisions about their work. It’s also for fellow datadorks, who just find these kinds of factoids interesting.
I’m Jennifer Lynham Cunningham, CALS ’92, and my job is to measure how well the Office of Alumni Affairs is engaging Cornell alumni around the globe. I’ll post at least every Friday and I’ll share general metrics such as:
- Demographic information
- Survey results from big events
- Benchmarking comparisons against peer institutions
- Analysis of various engagement strategies
- Alumni Engagement Index: (# of alums who attend events + volunteer + give)/total # of alumni
