Graduates of 2012
Cornell hosts at least 3 graduation ceremonies every year: Ithaca campus in May, Weill Cornell Medical College in NYC, and Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar.
On Sunday, May 27, 2012, the 144th Commencement:
- 35,000+ people will cram into Schoellkopf
- Of the 4,976 new alumni, 3,227 are undergraduates and 1,749 are from graduate degree programs and professional schools
- 400+ faculty and staff will volunteer
- 91 countries will be represented
A survey of graduating students shows:
- 50% have jobs
- 33% have been accepted to graduate school
- 14% are job hunting
- 5% are awaiting graduate school decisions
