Risk Assessment

Junior/senior or graduate students in any engineering curriculum. Students will be trained in the concept of risk assessment and develop a process criterion starting from risk. 

Learning Outcomes

  1. Explain the microbial risk in food and impact of variability and uncertainty on risk assessment
  2.  Assess the safety of a process by using the knowledge of risk assessment
  3. Interpret how risk relates to Food Safety Objective (FSO)
