Making a Splash in the Milk Bucket

Within industry, we have heard it over and over again about the growth of the dairy foods industry in New York State.  While exciting, it is imperative to assure resources are sufficient to support this growth, something we take personally at Cornell University Dairy Foods Extension.  This support includes providing technical support, improving workforce development and conducting research that will benefit all within the dairy foods industry.

Our program has been growing and continuing to develop new ways to provide benefits for the industry.  This includes continuing to evolve and improve our Cornell Dairy Foods Certificate Program, offering incubation opportunities, collaborating with the International Dairy Foods Association to develop our next generation of dairy foods leaders, providing a process authority and launching our new Industry Partnership Program.  Additionally, we have been working hard to get the word out about the dairy foods industry by supporting the YO2GO Booth at the New York State Fair, developing partnerships with community colleges that are in process of launching food industry programs, and speaking to area high school administrators about the growing industry sector.

We are always looking for new ways to provide assistance to the industry.  Please do let us know if you would like to see something from our program.  After all, we are always looking for ways to continue to improve our program!
