Loving Local, Wasting Less – A Zero Waste Community Dinner

SU-CSCS is excited to announce that we are planning a zero waste, farm-to-table dinner in partnership with Farm To Fork 101 and LoFo. The dinner will take place on Monday, October 28th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Chuck Hafner’s Farmers Market and Garden Center in Syracuse, NY. The purpose of the event is gather community members, highlight local farms and chefs, and discuss the importance of mitigating the wasted food issue. Guests will be treated to a five-course dinner, with each course prepared by a different chef utilizing gleaned produce from a local Central New York farm.
