Hi! I’m Kathleen Jercich, a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences at Cornell University. This spring, I’ll be studying abroad at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. I’m an English major with minors in Biological Sciences and Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. I love creative writing, whether it be poetry or prose, and I will also be working on an honors thesis centered around Australian literature. It should be a blast, and I’d love to hear your feedback!
In my spare time at Cornell, I teach caving through Cornell Outdoor Education and serve as a mentor for the faQ-online anonymous hotline. I am also a section editor for Kitsch Magazine and a member of the Advisory Board for the Women’s Resource Center. I love reading, dancing in the snow, downhill skiing, talking about zombies, rock climbing, and bad karaoke.
All I really need to be happy are hugs, jazz hands, adventure, and a terrier. Everything else is negotiable.
