About Me
Hey guys!
My name is Grace Huntley. I grew up in rural New Jersey and attended Blair Academy for high school (yea I’m one of those prep school kids). I’m currently a junior at Cornell studying Human Development with a concentration in Social and Personality Development and a minor in Education. At school I’m involved with Bigs of Ithakids, The Rainy Day, and EARs. I’ve also dabbled within Slope Magazine, Outdoor Odyssey, Women’s Rugby, and The Public Jounal. Through my major I’ve done fieldwork at Northeast Elementary school in a kindergarten classroom. I’ve worked with Cornell catering, in the Engineering and Physical Sciences Libraries, in Cornell Outdoor Education, and as a research assistant in the Sociology Department and within the Emotion and Cognition Lab. Currently I work with The Learning Web as a youth program assistant.
Right now I’m studying in Galway, Ireland at the National University of Ireland. I’m living with two other girls from Fairfield University in CT. We share a two bedroom apartment in Dunaras Village, about a ten minute walk from the beach and a thirty minute walk from town. While at school so far I’ve gotten involved with choir, archery club, mountaineering, the food and drink society, film society, international student’s society (they take us on trips!), and writer’s club.
