Hi Alessandra,

I'm a senior Broadcast News major at CU Boulder & I'm writing a feature article on sexism in Italian media as the product of Berlusconi's media monopoly (focusing on television specifically). Anyway, I need a way to effectively localize my piece & make it relevant to an audience of American college kids. You're so charismatic and a FANTASTIC writer so I would LOVE to get your perspective. If you'd be up for it, just send me an email address where I can reach you & I'll send a few questions your way. Flip on the tube & give me some insight & I'll quote you in my article. You can of course post the finished product on your site, and assuming you're cool with it, I'll be submitting the article to The Atlantic & if they publish it it's always a thrill to see your name in print :) I am on deadline for next Wednesday, so if you're interested, the sooner you can get back to me the better.

Thanks so much for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best,

Amanda

p.s. I put my email in the "leave a reply" form but just in case ... you can reach me at amanda.turner@colorado.edu

Thanks again!!

I freaking love u sooo much!!! I've been reading your blogs for the last hour and I just want to tell you how amazing I think you are! I always brag about you to my friends and anyone who will listen lol! Also, i've talked you up so much to sean that I think he feels like he knows you already :) We've already decided what photographs of yours we're going to blow up and hang up whenever we decide to live together :) I just want to tell you how insanely talented I think you are and how unbelievably proud I am to be your sister! I miss u like crazy!!! And as cliche as it might sound I'm tearing up thinking about how hard being away from you for so long has been on me...u are my baby sister and I can't believe that you're growing up! I can't wait till I see you in July! Infinite x's and o's!!!

Great blog,

Different country, different language, I guess you need to pay more attention to the little things....

Women's restrooms usually have a picture of someone in a skirt unless you are in Scotland...
