CU Abroad – Alison Keggan

A Cornell Abroad Blog

About Me :-)

Hey All!

Welcome to my blog!  To introduce myself, I’m Alison Keggan and I am a sophomore at Cornell University studying Animal Science and Agricultural Business.  I am from a small town in New Jersey. While most people do not believe small towns exist in New Jersey, they do!  I have an older brother and sister.

At Cornell, I am a member of Cornell University Dairy Science Club, Sigma Alpha Professional Agricultural Sorority and Collegiate FFA.  FFA holds a special place in my heart, since I have been a member since my freshman year of high school and have had many fantastic opportunities.  FFA is a national organization of over 500,000 students developing premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.  At Cornell, I am also a Tradition Fellow.

Agriculture is one of my greatest passions and I consider myself fortunate to have grown up raising and showing goats, rabbits, sheep, chickens, and cows.  While in New Zealand, I look forward to exploring their agricultural industry!

I look forward to sharing my experiences at Massey University at Palmerston North, New Zealand with you!
