What inspired you to get into the field of urban planning?

I wanted to design and incorporate climate change,sustainable designs, and adaptation planning strategies for large-scale sites.

What made you decide on choosing Cornell’s program?

The reputation of the Landscape Architecture department, and the flexibility for the dual degree.

What has been your favorite class/professor/experience in the program so far?

Creating the Urban Eden with Professors Nina Bassuk and Peter Trowbridge of the Landscape Architecture department.

What is your favorite thing about Ithaca?

The balanced mix of natural and urban areas, like Cascadilla Creek running through the middle of Collegetown and Downtown.

What are your career ambitions after Cornell?

Work for a planning and architecture firm that focuses on projected related to climate change adaptation.
