What inspired you to get into the field of urban planning?

I took a psychology course that focused on human behavior in the built environment, which exposed me to the planning program at my school. I’ve always thought of studying architecture, but more of the urban scale, so pursuing a second major in urban planning made sense.

What made you decide on choosing Cornell’s program?

I wanted to continue studying urban planning and take the time to refine both my technical and soft skills. Cornell was the most flexible program in letting me focus on those aspects.

What has been your favorite class/professor/experience in the program so far?

Our class trip to D.C. was a lot of fun!

What is your favorite thing about Ithaca?

Big Red Barn!

What are your career ambitions after Cornell?

I hope to secure a position working in design and development related projects.

Key Interests: Urban Design, Campus Planning, Public Health, New Urbanism, Placemaking, Real Estate Development
