Professor van Es and Adapt-N are featured in The Guardian article on new technology to conserve fertilizer and protect crops

Adapt-N, a software program from Cornell researchers, aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and save farmers’ crops. Now the big seed companies are taking notice.  According to Dr Harold van Es, professor at Cornell University’s Department of Crop and Soil Sciences, the tool combines three major innovations: research that shows nitrogen variability can be managed, cloud computing technology, and high-resolution weather information.
