Jenny Price, “Stop Saving the Planet!” Feb. 26, 7pm.

CREST’s next big event will be on Thursday evening, February 26th, at 7pm, in McGraw 165: come hear Jenny Price give a fantastic (and funny) talk called “Stop Saving the Planet!”

Jenny is an independent writer, scholar, and activist, with a Ph.D. in History; she is the author of Flight Maps: Adventures with Nature in Modern America (Basic Books, 1999) and is currently the Currie C. and Thomas A. Barron Visiting Professor in the Environment and Humanities at Princeton University.  Normally based in LA, Jenny also gives tours of the Los Angeles River as part of the Los Angeles Urban Rangers, an art-performance-educational group which she co-founded in 2004.

Jenny’s talk is sponsored by CREST, ACSF, and the Department of History: thanks for the support!

And thanks to Amy Kohout for making this event happen.
