Arrivederci, Farewell Roma

It is hard to believe that four months has already gone by. My luggage is packed I will soon be flying out of Italy in a matter of hours.

This week has been a ‘last’ of everything-the last gelato, the last pasta, the last coffee, the last walk through Campo de’ Fiori, the last sunset at the Vatican. Knowing that all these incredible things will soon be gone has made me realize just how much I’ve been able to experience here in Rome.

If it’s my one advice for future travelers and Cornell in Rome students, I would say to use all your free weekends to see other places that the program may not cover. It’s hard to believe just how expansive and rich this country really is and a semester alone is just not enough time to see a lot of these important places.
