NYS DEC Free Fishing Day Clinic
10-3pm Glimmerglass State Park
Pre-registration is appreciated, but not necessary, by sending an Email to friendsofglimmerglass@gmail.com or calling the park office at 607-547-8662. This program is in cooperation with NYS OPRHP, NYS DEC and the NY Chapter of the American Fisheries Society.
We intend to use this sites to post upcoming meetings, events, and outreach opportunities.
INVITATION: Family and friends of the CNY Chapter and participants in the Women in Nature (WIN) program of the Onondaga County Sportsmen’s Federation are invited to participate in an Ice Fishing Outing & Clinic to be held at Tully Lake, located off I-81 about 15 miles south of Syracuse (see attached map).
License Needed: A current NYS fishing license will be required for all participants aged 16 years or older
Ice Fishing Clinic: A clinic on ice fishing equipment and techniques will be offered for anglers new to ice fishing by experienced CNY Chapter instructors, starting at 9 AM. (We will meet at 9 AM at the Burger King Restaurant located at the Tully Villageexit from I-81, then continue one mile to the south end of Tully Lake.)
