Time to most recent common ancestor Selection (TSel) (Download)
Authors: Hunter-Zinck and Clark (submitted)
Description: TSel is a natural selection inference method that can detect multiple modes of selection along a wide range of timescales and strengths using whole-genome sequence data.  Tsel can detect modes of selection including complete hard sweeps, partial hard sweeps, soft sweeps, and overdominance.  The method is based on an anomaly detection algorithm exploiting natural selection’s distortions of local genealogies, as approximated by pairwise distributions of time to most recent common ancestor, and is implemented as an R package.
