Gina Chapleau

Gina ChapleauAs the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Movement continues to gain global momentum, I am interested in approaches to capacity building and systems strengthening for multisectoral nutrition (MSN) planning and action. I am currently engaged in two projects in Tanzania which explore on the job mentoring across key stakeholders as a mechanism for operationalizing MSN initiatives within communities. As this work progresses, we aim to scale up approaches found to be successful, including the use of mentorship programs, participatory MSN coalition building and workshops, and community-based stakeholder mapping in order to strengthen relationships and information sharing between government and civil society organizations.
