Hidden Valley 4-H Camp Shares the Joy of Camp Pizza Making with Families

Hidden Valley 4-H Camp has featured many meals over the years and when Lisa Shrout was the Head Cook at camp a cookbook featuring the most treasured meals of campers and staff was created as a fundraiser. Many of those recipes feature gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan choices as options for feeding campers and staff. Most of our food is made from scratch with special love from the kitchen staff to all campers; it has also been a cost saving strategy for Hidden Valley through the years along with being appreciated by staff, campers and parents. Although our camp is not open this season, we want to share the most beloved Friday meal; Hidden Valley 4-H Camp Pizza. Lisa Shrout created the recipes and they are handmade – we welcome our camp families to create their own pizza’s and join in posting their pizza creations on our Facebook page. We are excited to see what our camp families create. Our camp recipes are included for your family’s – enjoy!
