Late Summer Pasture Walk and Grazing Discussion

Saturday, August 25 at 10 am  Location: Hagar Hill Beef Farm, 1374 Rt 22B, Morrisonville, NY

It’s been a tough summer to keep the pastures green.  Come and see what rotational grazing can do to help.

Anyone with an interest in grazing livestock is welcome to join us to walk the pastures, evaluate the forages and review some pasture initiatives implemented for improving forage growth in a planned rotational grazing system.  Please join us in a discussion on techniques used, soil quality, species composition, weeds, economics, etc.  To register, contact CCE Clinton at 561-7450 or email phh7@cornell.edu
