Attention Vegetable Growers-Post Season Checkup

Tues Dec 18th , 11-1:00 in Keeseville – Field Production of Veg Crops

Lunch included!

Steve Reiners, Horticulture Professor, and I will be leading an informal grower discussion focusing on vegetable production, especially fertility and irrigation, but other questions are welcome as well.                              Join us for a field meeting and grower discussion.

Wednesday, September 26

5:30-7:30 pm

At Shady Grove Farm

Host: Francisco Braun

844 Rte 22B, Schuyler Falls, NY

(just south of Salmon River and Irish Settlement Roads, just north of where Mason St. comes in to Rte 22B)

Free and open to the public. New growers are especially encouraged to join us. We’ll start by looking at Francisco’s first season high tunnel, walk around the farm, then settle down for an informal discussion. How was your season? What are your plans for next year? What kinds of trainings would be helpful this winter?
