Dealing with Drought

According to the USDA Drought Monitor found at http://droughtmonitor.unl.edu the Finger Lakes region of New York is abnormally dry as of July 5, 2018 and water conservation is encouraged.

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Cayuga County has posted below 6 drought related fact sheets that may be of interest.  These fact sheets offer water conservation tips as well as wise watering for gardens and lawns and tips for managing a well during drought.  For those unable to access the website please call 315-255-1183 and leave a message in the general message center which includes your name and address and which fact sheets you are requesting.

Hard copies are also available Monday through Friday between 8 am and 4 pm at the CCE Cayuga County Education Center located at 248 Grant Avenue Road, Auburn.
