Workplace Issues Today: Station Casinos workers gain union support for organizing efforts

Culinary Workers Union Local 226 has announced its support for the efforts of workers at Las Vegas’ Station Casinos to organize. The workers have filed a 127-count complaint against Station — which holds stakes in nearly 20 Las Vegas-area businesses — with the National Labor Relations Board, accusing the casino operator of a variety of unfair labor practices aimed at derailing organization. The NLRB hearing is set for August 16.
