RefWorks
Learn to use RefWorks, an online database system for managing citations and formatting them for writing projects. RefWorks is provided at no charge to members of the Cornell community. RefWorks will save you time and effort when you start your paper or thesis! It is a must for anyone who does extensive academic research and writing. Introducing RefShare! RefShare is a social networking tool that allows you to share your references with colleagues by turning your RefWorks database into a dynamic web page. See examples of Cornell RefShare databases .

Citation Indexes/Databases Workshop
If you’re a professor, who’s citing your work? If you’re a student, who’s citing your professor’s research? How can you identify other scholars and top journals in your research area? Learn about citation indexes and how to use them more effectively. We will focus on products that are part of ISI’s Web of Knowledge: Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) and Web Citation Index. You’ll learn how to track citations, research topics, and locate lists of article references. Learn about the advanced features that these databases offer. We will also discuss ISI’s Journal Citation Reports database, which provides analysis of journal citations and impact factors.
