“High Impact” ILR Journals

Did you know that Cornell University Library subscribes to a product that helps identify “high impact” journals in the field of industrial and labor relations? Go to Web of Science, click the tab for “Select a Database,” scroll down and choose Journal Citation Reports. Next steps: Select “Social Sciences Edition” and use the drop-down menu on to “View a group of journals by Subject Category”. Click “Submit”. Last Step: Select “INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS & LABOR” from the list of categories and click “Submit”. After getting your results, you can sort by different criteria. Other subject options include: BUSINESS; ECONOMICS; MANAGEMENT; PSYCHOLOGY – SOCIAL. For more information about the product and criteria used, see the Journal Citation Reports product page .

So, which journals come out on top when sorted by Impact Factor…? Journal of Labor Economics, Industrial Relations, and Journal of Human Resources.
